Who we are

WARWICKSHIRE POLICE AUTHORITY

Warwickshire Police Authority was created by the Police and Magistrates Courts Act 1994 and came into existence on 1 April 1995. The statutory role of the Police Authority is contained in the Police Act 1996.

The Authority consists of 17 members:

Their job is to work in close partnership with the Chief Constable and his staff to ensure the police force operates effectively, efficiently and remains publicly accountable.
