Biography:
County Council Member for Nuneaton Abbey 2005-present. Chair Nuneaton & Bedworth Safer Communities Partnership 2005-present. Member Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council 1979-2006, including Mayor 1991-92.
Currently Chair of Audit Committee having joined Police Authority in 2006. Served on Community Engagement and Equality & Diversity Committees previously.
Married to Ann (1968); 3 children, 5 grandchildren.
Enjoys gardening, sudoku and pub quizzes.
Member of Executive Committee (Treasurer) of Nuneaton Constituency Labour Party.
