Biography
John Vereker has served as a County Council Member of the Police Authority since 2001.
He began his working life with an engineering apprenticeship, before qualifying as a Chartered Personnel Manager, and holding senior HR positions with various companies.
More recently working as a freelance HR consultant, he has specialised in assisting employees faced with redundancy to find new careers, in factory closure situations.
For many years he has represented divisions in Rugby, on Warwickshire County Council, with particular interests in HR and Local Government finance.
