Biography
Oliver Winters jointed the Police Authority as Chief Executive in May 2010. Prior to that Oliver was the Head of Finance at Warwickshire County Council. He is a qualified CIPFA accountant and has spend over 35 years working in various aspects of local government finance.
Oliver's childhood and early working life was spent in the Black County which explains why he is a supporter of West Bromwich Albion. He moved to Warwickshire about 15 years ago but cannot shake off the accent. The rare moments of relaxation are spent trying to play the classical guitar - note the emphasis on the word trying.
