Biography
Sian is the Police Authority's legal adviser supporting the Monitoring Officer, David Carter, and the Deputy Monitoring Officer, Greta Needham.
Sian is a solicitor employed by Warwickshire County Council and joined the Council as a trainee in 2001 having graduated with first class honours from Birmingham University. After experience of a number of different legal specialisms at the Council and having a stint at Pinsent Masons law firm in Birmingham, Sian returned to Warwickshire County Council in her current role of Team Leader for Corporate and Employment Law.
Sian is passionate about the contribution the public sector can make to local communities, and values the variety provided by her role supporting the Police Authority and the Force as well as the Council.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her young daughter, music of all kinds, and gardening.
