Freedom of Information
Since 1 January 2005, the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000 has given you a right of access to recorded information held by public authorities, subject to certain exemptions.
The FOI Act applies to the vast majority of public authorities. If you ask us for information we will let you know in writing whether we hold information you have asked for and if we do, provide the information to you within 20 working days, unless it is subject to an exemption. If the information requested is held by Warwickshire Police we will forward your request to them and inform you of our actions.
The publication scheme below sets out what information will be made available to the public, how people can access the information and whether the information will be available free of charge or on payment. This means that anyone can get fast and easy access to information they want.
If you would like information on any issue to do with operational policing, please see the Warwickshire Police Information Page or call Police Headquarters on 01926 415000 for further information.
