Two arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference, Polesworth
Incident 29 of 21 July
Officers arrested two men aged 19 and 23 years old from Atherstone on suspicion of vehicle interference in Polesworth.
The men were arrested after a member of the public called the police just after 4am on Wednesday 21 July to report seeing a group of people trying car doors in Edithas Road, Polesworth.
Officers arrived and after an extensive area search arrested the two men. The men spent the remainder of the night in police custody and officers will interview them later today.
Following the arrest, officers continued to search the area and are appealing for any witnesses who saw anyone acting suspiciously around vehicles in the early hours of today.
