North Warwickshire
As part of the Governance Framework adopted by the Authority, Carol Fox from the Authority has been appointed to the role of Borough Partnership head for North Warwickshire.
North Warwickshire is a local government district and borough in Warwickshire. The main towns in the area are Atherstone, Coleshill, Polesworth and Kingsbury.
North Warwickshire covers an area 110 Sq Miles (28, 516 Hectares or 285 km2) and has an estimated population of 62,300 (mid 2008 estimate), this equates to 219 persons per sq. km.
It is a mostly rural area and the area historically had a large coal mining industry, but this has almost died out. The district is relatively remote from the rest of Warwickshire, as the county is almost split in two by the West Midlands.
