Community Forum Meetings

I attended a meeting of the Bedworth North & Bedworth West Community Forum on the 6th December 2010 at Keresley Community Centre.

The issues raised at that meeting included :-

• parking on the corners of Vicarage Lane and Blackberry Lane and the issue of parkling on pavements in the area
• anti social incidents in Grant Road/Fieldview Close area of Bedworth.  Issue centres around 2 dwellings alleyways in the area
• parking issues in Grove Lane to cars dropping off and collecting at the school.  The issue of yellow lines has been investigated and will not be undertaken.  Agreed that the only deterrent would be police presence in the area and the ticketing of vehicles blocking residents’ driveways
• lorries travelling through Keresley village and along Blackberry Lane trying to get into Prologis Park.

I also attended the recent meeting of the Nuneaton IAG where no major issues were raised.
